MIGRATION APPROACH

Off your old PBX without the chaos

A typical Teams Phone migration takes 6-10 weeks end-to-end. Here's how we sequence it.

1

Discovery

Audit current call flows, number inventory, contracts, handset fleet, carrier relationships.

2

Design

New call-flow architecture, dial plan, voice policy, emergency routing, signed off before any porting starts.

3

Pilot

10-15 user pilot group on Teams Phone. Old PBX still active. Two weeks to find the edge cases before org-wide cutover.

4

Cutover

Weekend port window, on-call engineers, immediate validation testing. Hyper-care for two weeks post-cutover.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Common questions

Is this Teams Voice or a separate platform?

Both. Most clients run Teams Voice (Direct Routing or Operator Connect) because it sits inside Microsoft 365. We deploy and manage either.

What about compliance call recording?

Yes, we deploy and manage compliance recording solutions on Teams Voice for AFSL holders, financial advisors and other regulated entities.

Will you port my existing numbers?

Yes. Number porting (LNP) is part of voice transition projects. Australian, US, UK and NZ numbers all portable. Lead time typically 2-6 weeks.

What about international DIDs?

We provide DIDs in 60+ countries through our carrier partnerships.

Is calling included or billed separately?

Engineering and management are included. Calling minutes, DID rental and carrier fees are billed separately at transparent rates.

Does it integrate with our CRM?

Teams Voice integrates with Microsoft Dynamics natively, HubSpot and Salesforce via connectors, and most others through Power Automate.

HOW WE DELIVER VOICE

Telephony that just works, sized to your traffic.

Hosted voice on enterprise-grade Session Border Controllers, with Microsoft Teams direct routing, call recording with retention, IVR design, hunt groups, and the carrier-grade plumbing behind it all. Number ports are coordinated with the losing carrier and tested before the cutover. Mobile Number Porting, fraud monitoring, location handling for emergency services, all the bits that go wrong with cheap SIP, handled by humans who own the outcome.

You get an account team that knows your dial plan, your hunt logic, and which extensions belong to which roles, not a portal you have to learn from scratch. When a call queue misbehaves we already have the recording, the SIP trace, and the configuration history. Monthly reporting includes call volumes, abandoned-call ratios, and any recurring patterns worth attention.

Off the old PBX. Onto Teams. Without the bill shock.

Book a voice consultation, we'll audit your current call infrastructure, model what a Teams Phone migration would actually save you, and lay out a realistic timeline.
