After six months of work alongside our design team, BaseHost has launched a refreshed website and visual identity. The new site is the first proper refresh since 2023, and it has been built around a clearer view of who we work with and what we actually do, day to day.
What changed
The positioning is sharper. Three years of work has clarified that we are not a generic IT shop, we are a managed services business with deep specialisation in Microsoft 365, compliance, cybersecurity and the digital experiences that sit on top of all of that. The new site reflects that with clearer service pages, framework primers for each of the major compliance frameworks, and the new compliance triage tool sitting front and centre under the Compliance menu.
New things we added
The compliance triage at /compliance-assessment/ is brand new, built to answer the question we hear constantly: which framework actually applies to us. Beyond that, every service page now has a dedicated FAQ block answering the questions we hear most often, framework primer pages cover Essential 8, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and SMB1001 in detail, and we have added pages for Security Awareness (via KnowBe4) and the SMB-focused frameworks that did not have a home before.
The tech stack, for the curious
WordPress with the Divi builder, on our own managed hosting infrastructure underneath, of course. The design system is built around tokenised colours and type so it works with AI generators and authoring tools without drifting from the brand. Everything we ship on the site, we eat first.

More case studies, deeper sector pages for the industries where we have the most depth (financial services, professional services, health and aged care), and ongoing additions to the Insights index as our engineers publish more long-form write-ups.
