Atlantis FCG
Overview
Atlantis FCG is a specialist Australian consultancy in the fisheries sector, combining fishery licence management with consulting and fund-management services. BaseHost has delivered and operated the firm’s full technology footprint over multiple years: office networks and devices, the Microsoft 365 environment, the security and compliance layer, the corporate website and other web properties, and a Power Apps based research environment used by the field team.
The Situation
Atlantis operates across multiple locations, and the industry it serves carries its own security and compliance expectations. The brief was twofold. First, keep the technology consistent, fast and secure across every office regardless of location. Second, make sure the digital footprint, the website and the small business applications, was built and run by the same team that knew the rest of the environment.
What We Delivered
Office network builds at multiple locations. Each office stood up with business-grade switching, structured Wi-Fi and managed fibre internet, plus secondary backup connectivity so the offices stay online when primary links fail.
A mixed-platform device fleet. Microsoft Surface devices for staff who live in the Office suite, Apple MacBook Pro laptops for staff who prefer the macOS environment, all procured, deployed and managed by BaseHost under one operating model.
Microsoft 365, secured and compliant. A full enterprise M365 environment with security baselines, MFA, conditional access and the additional controls the fisheries sector expects from its consultants and fund managers.
A Power Apps research environment for the field team. Built on Microsoft Power Apps and deployed across a managed fleet of iPads, the application is used by Atlantis researchers in the field to capture fisheries and marine-life observation data during research programs. Submissions flow straight into Power BI dashboards for analysis and reporting, so the team move from field observation to board-ready visualisation without anyone touching a spreadsheet.
Corporate website and web assets. BaseHost built the current Atlantis FCG corporate website and runs ongoing website management across that site and a number of additional web properties owned by the group.
Other small custom projects. Several smaller projects delivered over the years to streamline internal processes and reporting for the team.
